So... I went and talked with an advisor at MCC yesterday and found out what I need to do to become a Nurse. I took a bunch of classes before I got married and I didn't know if they would count or not, but I found out they all do. The only thing I HAVE to take is Microbiology over (I got a "D" in it... it was the semester I got married...), but they suggested to take all my Biology's over again, just as a refresher. Then they told me it is about a 3 semester wait for getting into the Nursing Program. This couldn't turn out any better. I have 4 Bio classes to take and 4 semesters before Macee is in Kindergarten. I'm going to take a class this fall semester and take my NET (Nursing Entrance Test) and get all my paperwork completed to apply for Nursing school by the end of the fall semester. That will give me about 3 semesters to finish my Bio's and then I can work towards my degree. At that time my little Macee will be in school full-time and I can not feel guilty for taking time for me. I think that Heavenly Father knows that this was the perfect time for me to start back, seeing as it is all falling smoothly into place. I'm excited and scared for this opportunity, but I know it is a step that I need to take. Just thought I would share my news!

That sounds so exciting!! You are really going to be a GREAT nurse. And, I have to say that I completely admire mothers who get their degrees while raising their families. It really does sound like perfect timing and I'm so happy for you!
Perfect! It's amazing how things just fall into place when the time is right!
hehe...ya, the semester I got engaged was interesting. Luckily I got engaged the first week of school and I decided it would be smart to drop some of my classes so I didn't fail out of them due to lack of motivation.
Good luck with school, that's so great that you are going back!
