Happy Birthday Tylerbug!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYLER!!! I can't hardly believe Tyler is already 9 years old! He has been a joy to have in our family since the day he was born. He has a great personality! He has always been an easy going kid. He wasn't a fussy baby... he was just content to sit in his swing and watch the movie Anastasia. He has always been a meticulous child, lining up his animals and putting them into catagories. If Tyler doesn't grow up and do something with animals I will be completely suprised! He can tell us anything we want to know (and more) about any animal! He is definately my child... he is very anal about how things should be run, set-up and organized and when people get into his way about how it should be done or they mess up something he was working on he gets frustrated... definately a quality he got from his mom! I can't believe my little boy is growing up! He's in 3rd grade this year and is really enjoying science. He loves to make experiments! He's a Bear in Cub Scouts (and just took 1st place at the Pinewood Derby last night!) He enjoys reading books, making books about animals, playing soccer, playing baseball and mostly playing Yu-Gi-Oh with his friends (and anyone else he can con into playing with him!)

We're so lucky to have Tyler in our family!

If this is the worst thing he wants to do...

...then we'll be OK! Tyler asked me if he could have a mohawk. I said yes right away, but he could only have it for a week... no mohawks for church! But his dad disagreed and didn't want him to have one at all... Well, mom won, well kinda... we decided he could have it for 1 day... so today is the day! On our way to school our neighbor saw him and loved it! He said Tyler is so unassuming and here he is with a mohawk! Well Tyler I hope you enjoy your mohawk for a day!
(BTW... I LOVE IT!!!)

Yummy Dinner!!!

We just had the Mortensen's over for dinner tonight and we had Mini-Meatloaves... and they are so yummy I thought I would share the recipe with you!
Mini-Meatloaves
3/4 c. skim milk
2 eggs- well beaten
2 T. Worchestershire Sauce
1 t. salt
1 lb lean ground beef (93% lean or better)
1 c. bread crumbs (seasoned ones taste the best)
Fat free cooking spray
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix ingredients well in order given.
Pack mixture into 12 sprayed muffin tins. Bake for 20 minutes.
For you Weight watcher people...
each mini meatloaf is 2-Points or 1-Point on Core.
Hope you all like the recipe. Give it a try! For a meal idea... get the Idahoan Instant Potatoes (I like the Fully Loaded ones myself), have 1/2 c. of those (2 points), 2 mini-meatloaves (4 points), steamed veggies or a salad (0 points) salad dressing (depends on what you use for points) and you have a yummy low-point dinner!
Just thought I would share!
Have a fabulous day!!!
