Happy Halloween!!!

We had a great Halloween! Here's some pics from our fun night!

Our kiddos!!!

Miss Maddy with hot rollers in her hair!

Her Royal Highness taking another nap before trick-or-treating!

Maddy was complaining that her head was hurting from the curlers, so we got a new pull-up out and stuck it one her head to help hold the curlers where they belonged!

Macee... a Ballerina Princess

Maddy... a princess (she was going to be Hannah Montana, but she hated the wig, so a princess was her back-up!)

Tyler... ASH, the Pokemon Trainer

Chuck (Super Chuck) and Devon (Pimp Daddy) walking the neighborhood with us! Devon even spotted his dream car... I should have gotten his picture with it! Oh well!

We met up with the Mortensen's on the street, so we went along with them to do some of our Trick-or Treating! Thanks for hanging with us!

My family along the route!

I found this picture on this blog. I hope she doesn't mind me stealing it... but I really liked it!
VOTE YES on 102!!!
Keep marriage defined as one man and one woman... just as God created it! It was Adam and Eve... there was NO Adam and Steve!!!

I got a new camera!

First of all thanks to my mom for watching out for me and helping me get a new camera at a FABULOUS deal! You know I can't live without a good camera... so thanks and I love you!!!

Now on to why I needed a new camera. My other camera died while at Disneyland in Sept. The only thing wrong with it is the flash doesn't work... but we found out it was more expensive to fix that problem than it would be to get a whole new camera... so a new camera it is! I guess a flash gets tired when it has taken about 11,000 pictures in the past year and a half... (thanks Grandma Nichols for that trait... I LOVE IT!!!) Chuck says I'm part Oriental... funny, huh? I'm a total tourist! So I love pictures and recording my family in viewable memories! So I needed a camera that would fit into my pocket and go with me wherever I needed it to go. I'm way super excited and really excited to have it for our Disney Trip in December!

Here are some pics I took with it yesterday... I think they are great quality!

My Chuck!!!

Her Royal Highness taking an afternoon nap! She really needed it!

Miss Maddy... she's so cute!

Tyler Bug... He's almost a whole decade old! I can't believe it!!!

OK... this picture is GROSS!!! It's my computer keyboard. I took it on Macro Setting and got up close... maybe I shouldn't have done that! CRAZY!!! I tell you this camera takes good pictures and this is PROOF!!!

My kids are growing up!

I just came across these pictures I don't recall ever seeing. I can't believe how much they have grown since then! These were taken on May 13, 2007. Wow... about 1 1/2 yrs ago!

I bet you have been wondering where we were???

And you can probably guess right... DISNEYLAND!!! We went again over October Break and this time took Grandma Rowley with us. We left on Wednesday after school and came home Sunday. It was a very fun trip. We LOVE Disneyland... TONS!!! That's probably why we got Annual Passes this year. We are going one more time before they expire. I'll post about that later, but for now... here are pictures from this trip!

Enjoying icecream cones at the gas stop in Quartzsite. YUM!!!

Macee was crowned "princess" of King Triton's Carousel

Kids in Candy Corn Acres

Maddy & Macee with Minnie in her Candy Corn dress

Us all on Splash Mountain. Macee is finally tall enough to go on a lot of the rides! YEA!!! Her face is being covered by Maddy's hand, but she is really there. After the drop she got a little wet and she said, "I'm soaked!" (while holding her shirt out.) Funny girl!

Standing in line for Toy Story Mania, just after we got our 3-D glasses. We went on this ride 4 times! It was so much fun! The next few pictures are from this ride

Maddy and Tyler

Grandma taught Macee to stand on the number she was assigned, that way she wasn't too close to the ride while standing in line.

This is mine and Tyler's score. He was my buddy this round.

Grandma and Macee on Toy Story Mania!

Grandma and Maddy on the Disneyland Railroad.

Soarin' Over California is Grandma Rowley's favorite ride! She went on it 3 times. She could always talk Macee into going with her.

Tyler relaxing while waiting for Grandma and Macee to get out of Soarin' Over CA. This reminds me of Billy (my brother) on our vacations. He would just make himself comfortable wherever he was!

Grandma and Macee with their "bug eyes" on. While the big kids and dad went on some bigger rides, we took grandma to see "It's Tough to be a Bug." She had never seen it before.

The crew on Grizzly River Run.

Macee patiently waiting with me for the "crew" to come down the waterfall on Grizzly River Run.

Tyler in his dad's new Indiana Jones hat. He wore this hat a lot while at Disneyland.

Some of the decorations at Disneyland... I loved them all, but won't bore you with those pictures!

So that's what was in the box. When we went to Disneyland in Sept. there was a big box right where this Mickey Jack-O-Lantern is.

My kids at Rainforest Cafe. One of our favorite places to go while at Disneyland!

Teacups... need I say more? I'm definately not on them...

Grandma & Tyler. Tyler sure did stick by grandma a lot this trip. I think she really liked that!

Macee in the Indiana Jones Hat and glow necklaces. We decided to take in our own glow necklaces this time. You can get a tube of them that will make 5 necklaces for $1... can't beat that! Plus all the kids want is something that glows... so save yourself some money and take in your own! Also we took in Ring Pops and the kids really loved those for parade time and long lines... Just a tip from the Melsers!

Maybe my sanity is saved!!! Don't let them out!!!

The kids waiting for the "Parade of Dreams" to start.

I think I belong in the Haunted Mansion!!!
Since I'm behind the camera for the most part, Chuck took it away for a minute and snapped these of me. I guess I better be shown here so you all know I really went!

Until next time... enjoy these pictures! You know there will be more next time. And they won't be all the same because we are going with my mom & dad, Grandma Nichols (YEA!!!) and Billy and Karen's family! What a fun time, huh? We are looking forward to it very much!

Newport Beach Temple

While we were in California we stopped off at the Newport Beach Temple. It is beautiful! The church adjacent to it is also very beautiful (and unlike any I have seen before!). When I was younger and we went on family trips we always had our pictures taken at the different Temples we stopped at, so I have continued the tradition!

My camera had a smudge on it, so this picture is blurry! I didn't notice until most of the pictures had been taken! Oh-well. My mom got tons on her camera as well! But I don't have those to post right now!

Can you see my kids on the steps of the Temple? This is the entry.

Close up of my kiddos!
